With many senior members graduating, there is always a need for more younger future aces for the group. And with the juniors who are able to carry out the activities and continue the legend of a group like SKE48, by aiming for perfection and the growth of the team, there’s nothing for the graduating members and the fans to be worried about.

Every year, with their dedication, SKE48 members continue to re-write history by dominating over the other groups. And this is the path of the 7th Gen research students, where they get ready to carry the future of the group on their shoulders.

It’s a rough time at Aidol, with everyone tuckered to their necks with problems and priorities in real life. Here’s an absolute lovely Tabi Shoujo of (personally my favourite) 9th gen! The 9th gen buddies decide to hang out at the inn run by Shimada’s family. There’s exploration of Shimada’s hometown, delvings into her childhood, as well as a sweet hot spring scene!

Ep 6 of Tabi Shoujo, the second half of the trip, has already been subbed by show48, I believe, so please check them out too (here)! I won’t be doing that, but I’ll be working on the hulu extras of both episodes.

Finally! Fans of AKB49, rejoice!

We bring to you the long-awaited AKB49 Renai Kinshi Jourei Musical, with Urayama Minoru/Urakawa Minori played by Miyazawa Sae, Yoshinaga Hiroko by Owada Nana and Kojima Mako, and Okabe Ai by Suda Akari! Who says you can’t be manly wearing a frilly dress? Watch Urayama Minoru, an ex-baseball ace who has given up on his dreams, goes to extraordinary lengths to realise the dreams of his crush instead, Yoshinaga Hiroko! Witness the birth of the legendary 49th member of AKB, Urakawa Minori!

We’ve chosen to sub Owada Nana’s version as I personally feel she plays the part of Yoshinaga Hiroko better; however, Kojima Mako’s different take is definitely worth watching too. There are elements of the adapted story that are different from the manga, and parts of the musical fans of the manga may not be to their liking, myself included. However, overall, I think this is still a brilliant performance at the end, and both manga readers and non-manga readers will be able to enjoy it.

As some of you may know, AKB49 Renai Kinshi Jourei manga is coming to an end soon. The translations will catch up to it in due time, but it has been a great ride; do come aboard and embark on this journey with us! One of the most awesome reads of all time.
